Radio China International interferes from 7205 kHz

31.03.2024 - FEDERAL NETWORK AGENCY INVOLVED

Radio China International's evening broadcasts from 1900 UTC are a little wider than they should be according to international convention. Technically, this cannot always be avoided - at least the phenomenon of excessive bandwidths with powerful shortwave radio stations is not new. In this case, however, the lower sideband of the transmission regularly extends to just below 7200 kHz. This can affect QSOs on 7200 kHz LSB.

IG Intruder-Watch has submitted a report to the BNetzA and asked for support.
